A quick introduction.

The Evil Dead is a franchise, comprised of films, videogames, comics and a tv show.
The main movies of the franchise, and the ones which originated it, are Evil Dead 1, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness, all directed by Sam Raimi, the creator of the saga. Other movies in the franchise are Evil Dead 2013 and Evil Dead Rise (2023.)
Then there's the TV show, Ash vs. The Evil Dead, which was a continuation of the Sam Raimi original trilogy with the main character Ash Williams back in action.

Multiple videogames of The Evil Dead exist, these are the titles in order of release: The Evil Dead (1984, Palace Virgin Gold), Evil Dead: Hail to the king (2000, Heavy Iron Studios), Evil Dead: A fistful of boomstick (2003, VIS Entertaiment), Evil Dead: Regeneration (2005, Cranky Pants Games), Evil Dead: The game (2022, Saber Interactive.) The franchise also has many, many comics. The main publisher being Dynamite Comics, then the other two are Dark Horse Comics and Space Goat publishing.



What is the franchise about?
The franchise (except Evil Dead 2013 and Evil Dead Rise) are about Ashley Joanna Williams, or just Ash, a normal guy who soon gets persecuted by demons after reading the words of an ancient demonic book called The Necronomicon, following his quest to defeat the evil this book released.
